Hey @srikar115 Thanks for dropping by. Checked your blog and followed you on Medium. From your experience, it seems that for sites like mine (i.e. Blog) where downtime (at least it should not be huge) or security (as long as it is not compromised) matter but not to a huge extent, HG is fine. I had issues in migration, wordpress, DB, etc. and their staff was helpful. I just had one bad incident with them but later I realized it was my mistake.

I would do one thing, I would append your Blog URL to this post so that other HG customers and potential customers can get a fair idea as to when to go for their hosting (at least does not look good in dedicated hosting plan).

@Siddharth Patel Yes, I am an engineer but invest in stocks with gut feel and guidance from others who are active investors. I have also purchased Kushal Tradelink stocks when it was trading at a high price and hence came up with this post so that others can benefit from it. As I can see that right now the stock has fallen flat and I did sell it off couple of months back.

My article was just to benefit others and no where to misguide others. If you have any more information on KTL, feel free to comment so that others can also benefit.

@Rishi Kanjani I have invested in it and so far it looks good. In fact I recommended it to my friends & colleagues (who have more idea about stocks), they also informed that it is a good buy. Can you highlight what fundamentals of investing are they violating (for my own knowledge).

Thanks @Christoph Majewski Scanned the blog for viruses and it says there are none. Also logged on to server using Putty and removed couple of php files which were injected by the hacker. The blog is online, but as mentioned earlier by many of them (and you :)) I will run the command mentioned and also scan for these files. I could see that the top-search queries that led into blog were all junk. Would further update once I have done them (over this weekend).

Even my blog got compromised. I un-installed the Mobile Detector plugin and also removed the directories gopni3g and lrob5l. Then I ran anti-virus on my site and it could not detect any Virus. My blog is accessible but as mentioned by @PeterTrapasso, direct link works fine but the blog does not show updated content.

Also, the Google Webmasters Tool is searching for gopni3g and lrob5l and is not indexing my site.

Is there any fix for this issue ? Have been Googling around, but have not found any fix so far.
