The majority of what I wrote was simply defending your right to post without the interference of strangers in your life. The fact that I've struggled with anxiety and depression and tend to prefer relationships with the sexual dynamic you've described between yourself and Patrick probably makes me a little more sensitive to their comments, but commentary can't change their minds.

I think my favorite was when someone tried to use Occam's Razor to prove that I was Patrick -- because who else would expend "so much energy" defending a stranger -- when they themselves were expending even more energy trying to bring down two strangers. The hypocrisy was totally lost on them. Besides, I've never liked that theory and think it's flawed.

Re: Enough, now. When I tried to commented on this in the Now Public article, not only did they refuse to address my comments, but then accused me of being Patrick trying to paint the situation in a "tamer" light.

Re: Too Much Awesome, etc.

It's not obvious that they violated anything until you know the whole story. Do you? Unless you can prove something illegal happened, this is entirely libel.

Re: Enough, now. The assumption that Patrick has done something wrong simply because he used to be your TF is ridiculous. Even worse is assuming that Harvard is turning a blind eye without knowing the full story.

However, it seems naive to me to expect people not to dig into your personal life when it's broadcast publicly. There are always going to be people out there who feel that it is their duty to police other people's lives, even if they are not affected in any way. This is the reason gossip magazines do so well. People are nosy, self-righteous, and often have too much time on their hands. Besides, everyone loves a scandal...

Just because they don't have the right to force themselves into your personal life doesn't mean they won't try. You don't deserve this and didn't ask for it, but I don't think it's all that surprising.

Re: Economists Disprove Yellow Fever?

"Brunette, big boobs, curvy, dark skin, articulate, intelligent, small feet, and dimples. Also, I'm attracted to fierce, strong women."

Huh, this actually sounds a lot like how I'd describe myself...and I happen to be Jewish. Unless you're leaving something else out, I know a lot of Jewish girls who fit your description. Then again, I've been mistaken for Persian, Indian, Latina, and Mediterranean multiple times.

Of course, my parents are starting to realize that I probably won't end up with someone Jewish, either...
