i appreciate the guts that it took to write this. it may be the naivete in me (or the masochist) but i think that i wouldn't mind having feelings like these towards a person. mixed experiences with a person help you learn what you do and don't want from a lover or a friend. i'm presuming that it made you a better person because i don't see you as a closed off or distant individual. i guess the bottom line of what i'm trying to say is that although you've had this experience and this person is kind of like kryptonite to you, you will do better since you deserve it.
