I think that if the republican party would try harder to help shore up a flailing economy. Rather than spend all of their time and efferts making Oboma look bad so they can win the next election. I think we might still be able to come back from financial collapse. To push your own country into ruin simply to win a political race is dangerous and foolish.

Do large ad companies ever just try not advertising on a network to see if their sales change?
I think most ads on TV broadcast are a waste of business money. They should just do ads based on true views such as on internet. I mean by the time you even watch Jay or the fat one you are so disgusted why buy anything. Once, advertising companies said products need to be associated with being happy such "I dream of Jeannie" or such show. But, this garbage NBC is pushing really would kill must people's tendency to buy anything.

When I heard Moore was on I looked elsewhere. Maybe you can get Jimmy Carter on to explain white racism next week. Better yet Al Gore to help me save a polar bear. Its amazing that Faux news supporters have the balls to call MSNBC statist media when roger ailes, head of fox news, used to receive emails from the Bush WH indicating what stories to push to support their agenda. That is real statism, read a book and question authority, ESPECIALLY the propaganda machine at Fox.

Well, I think Heroes deserve another chance.
Sure the last season was kind of annoying because it gave us the impression it wasn't going anywhere, but it was in fact entertaining. And this is precisely what it is suppose supposed to be. Even if some little things tickles me, I still have fun watching this show and I'm really happy that it starts again.

Kring is doing a good job on this show and I don't quite understand why so many people are complaining. And when they are complaining, I just wonder why are they looking trailer for season 4 if they don't like the show? If you don't like this, okay fine you can don't like this, but don't try to make everybody else share your point of view where all different with different taste and you must live with this.

Keep up good work Tim, I hope it'll not be the last time we see heroes on TV

All those people who speak derogatorily of Oliver Stone's contribution to our understanding of history epitomize the dumbing down of our educational system. They are totally lacking in the most basic of critical thinking skills; truly pathetic.

You can't use "art" as a reason to shift history. Fact is that his version will be taken as history or used to muddy the true events. Fact is people are shallow and will not look into the matter. A perfect example was during the election, Tina Fey did a skit where she played Palin and said "I can see Russia from My front porch", It was taken from there on that those were the words of Palin. That just goes to show that you can't make up history for "ART". It is by design.

Remember, Kennedy was going after the Federal Reserve Bank and started the Silver Certificates (interest free money). That is why he is dead, period. Every President that went after the banks was assassinated with the exception of Andrew Jackson who's assassin's guns misfired. The bankers have the money to do whatever they want to whoever they want whenever they want. Unlimited money in this world leads to unlimited power.

Re-writing history for the sheeple. I doubt he will show how J.D. Rockefeller got his money and took over the oil industry. Or how J.P Morgan got his hands on the banking fortune. I doubt he will show how the Federal Reserve Act was was passed. I doubt he will show how the New York Bankers funded the Bolshevik Revolution and then staffed the Soviet Government. I doubt he will show how the Gold of the American people was confiscated by the World Bank through Great Britain. I doubt he will show how all of the major industries are controlled by the trusts of the Fed Banking Families. I am sure it will all be Bullshit!

Why not Tokyo? Maybe Hiroshima and Nagasaki had more military relevance? maybe the airplanes couldn't make the round trip based on fuel consumption to Tokyo and back. Maybe a low level military planner was lazy and threw darts at a board.

I wasn't alive then, but I do know one thing about that particular event, we needed to drop the bombs to hasten the end of the war. The war was over either way, but with the bombs, we put a end to it much quicker and much more decisively. The Emperor had no choice but to surrender unconditionally.

Ignorance will not retain the rights that so many fought so hard for. Why do so many in this country refuse to educate themselves on the horrific events we have participated in order to not repeat them. Are you so fearful of the truth? A country is nothing more than the reflection of it's people both good and bad. How embarassing that such a large portion of our populace chooses ignorance. Health care reform is a current issue that shows how stupid we are. How can one not be in favor of reform? So many would rather see the health insurance companies continue to reap huge profits while people die. It doesn't get any more stupid than this. Would the liberals please stand up and use your voice to drown out the idiots in this country.

I can't say with knowledge, but I'm guessing they started with a regular map, and then inflated the two countries they were talking about in the bit. Im not trying to give Fox News and credit as a valid source of inofrmation but I don't think they are that stupid.

I agree. The ratio of commercials/show time exceeded my tolerance last fall. I noticed it first with Lost and now I find all networks increasing the commercials. I watch much less TV because of this. I always mute for commercials now and find something else to do. With 5-7 minutes of continuous commercials now, I just get up and go do something, it's enough time to load the wash, check email, wash the dishes, etc. so I am not watching the commercials at all..

What this article didn't cover was are people just watching less TV in general now - regardless of the content?

BTW: Note to networks - I don't watch reality shows - period. So if you think you are maximizing your profits by producing reality shows and then increasing the amount of commercials, think again, that's a formula for bankruptcy. The numbers are starting to show this.

If I wanted to watch reality, I would just go outside and walk around town and interact with it - there are no commercials with this approach.

Listen, even though it didn't last long enough, Kings was a great show. Watching it was like seeing a Shakespeare play in London on its first performance. The acting, the writing, the plot were all superlative. Watch it and you'll seee.

The major networks have lost the incentive for something new over something safe (which usually is NOT safe) the same tired formula from a previous hit, especially from on on a cable show will not convert the viewers back to network. These networks are also judged by their news and the mainstream news media is at it's very worst ever. Nothing new, nothing informative, and spin spin spin. I see the day when they are bankrupt over cable shows. Unless they are sold to the government as well

At least the networks are not permitted as of yet to show almost porn style romance and drama on television. Cable and satellite long ago did this with extreme shows of all sorts and worse coming at the next corner. Modern kisses and porn friendly handshakes to women and men alike all over.
