Curanto en hoyo is very good, but the best curanto, in my experience, is curanto olla. In the ground, the shellfish has a tendency to be over cooked. For the best curanto in a restaurant try Kuranton in Ancud. It's excellent, and the owner is a character.

And while I'm playing Devil's Advocate... a pair of hydroelectric dams on the Elwha River in Washington are being removed by a river restoration project, draining a pair of lakes (Lakes Aldwell and Mills) that fed the hydroelectric generators...

Where would the boaters in the more arid regions of the West have gone? It's not like there's any reasonable alternatives to places like Lake Mead (to use one spectacular example), or Lake Mohave, or Lake Havasu. (The largest natural lake in Arizona, Mormon Lake, is less than 10 feet deep and occasionally dies up.)

And I think you're grossly underestimating the number of drowning fatalities. From 2000 to 2010 there were 267 fatalities at Lake Mead alone, of which 87 were from drownings.

In fact, if we just count the drowning fatalities at hydroelectric lakes in the desert West, you're easily over a thousand over the past decade alone.

So, why is it reasonable to count fatalities that occur in the transportation of wind turbines, and not the many more numerous deaths that occur because people are on bodies of water that wouldn't exist except for hydroelectric power?

Since you're going pretty far down the causality rabbit hole, shouldn't you be counting the people who die in drunken boating accidents on the lakes formed by hydroelectric dams?

The majority of tea partiers aren't "trying to stop immigration." They're trying to stop ILLEGAL immigration. Nor are they trying to stop "Muslim religious practices." They're asking that a planned mosque be built elsewhere.
