Check out “lost levels” or smb2 in Japan, it’s the sequel to smb. Outside Japan it was released on the snes as super mario all stars

from what I can see from the previews, some of the pixel aspects ratios are mutilated. Is this the case? (alex kidd on helicopter etc. some pixels are square, some are strange sizes) This is an artifact of resizing pixels without using multiples of 2. It might just be on the previews though, can you confirm?

d-pad area is a depression like the buttons, background is concave, here you have it as convex. (invert the bevel light or gradient)

This is clearly not a facsimile of the imuraya logo. Plagiarism is a pretty strong term.

Everyone has, and is entitled to, their opinion.
Designers are putting their experience to comment, from a profession they live and breathe.
However I must agree, going with a professional design agency would have yielded more cohesive results, because you have to ask; "now what?".
Even if one of the designs wins, it needs to be fleshed out in to marketing, mascots, banners, identity. A design agency still needs to handle and / or win this pitch. Should they be faithful to the winning design?

My personal favorite is A. It has the most room in terms of flexibility for branding. The others contain too much red, which for some reason reminds me of Beijing games.

I've been a designer for over 17 years professionally, working on many projects. Even I wouldn't know where to start with branding something as gargantuan as an Olympic event as a sole designer. An agency however, would ~ they have the man power.

Wolf in the City font. Be careful, although it's "free" on dafont, the creator has set an arbitrary price for use commercially.

Apple+o (open) with native dialogue will crash this version, so be careful ;) Native dialogue doesn't seem to render properly for me (Yosemite)

We've had cars with automatic braking in Japan for 4 years now. More recently lane detection. Does that count as Level 2?

This seems really useful but totally not getting the how to use: A there is no foundation's function.php, and B "line 30" is totally arbitrary.

What would be good is:

A: the line to insert to (your custom wordpress theme's) functions.php, such as "add_fuction('pagination'); (or whatever makes this work)

B: where to put pagination.php

C: what to add to the listing page you want to have pagination, like

It's highly unlikely. The immediate landmass area around Fukushima Daiichi has been closed since the accident, however radioactivity dissipates very quickly in salt water. Beaches along the East coast of Japan have been open for a few years now, although the accident / disaster was epic in scale.

I've been running paid stories or ads for a few years, pulled the plug and got paypal to refund my money after seeing those videos. Remarkably Facebook paid my advertising spend back (you can only claim 45 days) - doesn't stop my pages being followed by fake users and having no reach though.

I recommend anyone using the advertising system, stop and get a refund. It's the only way we as the consumers, can make an impact.

Nuclear energy is a double edged sword, on one hand it provides like no other. On the other, it poisons the land and it's people when accidents occur.

Japan, like Iceland, has great opportunities for supplementing energy needs with Geothermal Electricity. Although currently it only accounts for 0.1 of energy production in Japan.

They could ramp this up for a fraction of the cost it takes to clean up a broken nuclear power-plant. (Although, not too far or we will suffer the same fate as Krypton ;)

Nuclear is long term bad news and Japan was mad to have it in the first place. Each country should look to the best way to generate energy from their own geology.
