I think they just try to be all things to all people, and if they can't do
that, just to be completely maddening. I definitely understand the need for
hits, but there's something to be said for integrity.

Please DON'T stop. The first time I saw one of those images, I paused. The second time it really struck me, but by the time I'd seen a string of them, I was completely moved and decided to donate and encourage others to as well. Sometimes we need to be inundated.

I found mine through Craigslist too. It's a good starting point - mostly it'll lead you to brokers who will show you something similar to what you saw in the ad.

I'm in Greenpoint - despite some G train issues, I love it. I came from DC, where neighborhoods are kind of a big deal. Greenpoint is pretty close in terms of having neighborhood bars and shops and such where you can feel like a local. Also, it's cheap. I have a full kitchen, living room, dining room (big enough for a table and 6 chairs) and bedroom for under $1400. You can shoot me an email if you have any other questions! I meant to present that in a sarcastic way - Karl's comments are pretty ridiculous, especially considering he lost 100 lbs a few years back and since he reappeared "thin" he's probably the most fiercely pro-profession, stick-thin model supporter in the biz.

Oh, I adored the show. Just hated the movie. I thought it was kind of misogynistic - women didn't really care about their jobs, they just meddled, created problems and took the blame from all relationship ruin. I thought it went against so much of what the show stood for.

Damn straight. I know the lean aren't really a sect that garner a lot of sympathy - "do you eat?" comments are run of the mill and sadly expected, but attacking intelligence? Come on. She's asking to be taken to task.
