Aman bhai, user's need to provide their username and password for the twitter app, isnt it? But what do you think about developing somethign like ping.fm - like you configure the services in your browser with a native account (via oAuth) , and then using that username and password you can just loginto your native iphone apps (NSMutableURL) and publish the status :)

Junal, beside that there is another quick way to prevent direct access to the music files. For example, when your player loads the song data, send some secret header info in it, or you can just use that HTTP__X_FORWARDED_FOR, to check that this request is actually made from your site's flash player.

And then, in htaccess prevent hotlinking and direct access to the music file :)

then it will be quite secured (not fullproof, there are many spoofer availables) :)

SimplePie is considered comparatively bulky. And specially if you dont enable the cache feature of it, it will backfire by consuming resources @extreme. So my suggestion is that you can completely avoid the feedparsing part in your own server and use the external services for it.

Google has an awesome feed parsing service, you can just pass your feed url to this parser and get the parsed feeds as json object. its very useful when you have thousands of feeds to parse.
