If a study is about sugar and fat, then companies which produce those foods should not be allowed to contribute large amounts of money. They can channel that same money into research that is unrelated to their type of product and it would be more of an honest contribution instead of a bribe. I don't like how everything I eat has sugar even if it is a salty food. Why does bread have so much sugar? It doesn't take that much to proof the yeast, so why do we need the extra? Why does anything that is not sweet contain sugar? And worst yet, why should anything at all have high-fructose corn syrup?
