Well - it makes me extremely excited.

I think it took them so long because they needed to anwer two questions first:

* How to serve ads over IMAP?
* How to map their whole label system to the "classic" folder system that IMAP supports?

Since I can't switch to IMAP yet - how did they do it?

Mabber is actually not proprietary but Jabber with working transports for Yahoo, MSN, AIM and ICQ. Even though it is not advertised on the page it can easily be used with any jabber client.

Yes, there are many blogging platforms - but they work quite well together. Services like twitter and pownce might need to think of an interoperability concept to work well as parallel services.

Ich laufe von Büro zu Büro und halte meine Kollegen vom Arbeiten ab, in dem ich einfach alles erzähle, was ich sonst twittern würde. Was denn sonst?

Davon abgesehen gibt es eine API-Methode für diese Ankündigungen, die wird nur nicht wirklich oft implementiert...

Um es gleich einmal (neben Deinen Testkommentaren) einzuweihen - seit wann sind einzelne Spam-Kommentare oder -Mails plötzlich "Spams"?

Das klingt mir ein bißchen nach der Liga, in der einzelne Blogposts plötzlich Blogs sind - wie in: "Unsere Redaktion schreibt jeden Tag einen Blog."
