I find it ironic that you have the book Counterfeit Gods sitting atop of a book about UNC Basketball... Hmmmm... Which will you read first? I would think you should read the Roy Williams book first so that you don't feel too terribly convicted by Counterfeit Gods.

I often wonder about lots of the folks we talked to that summer. What a reminder that our role in people coming to faith in Christ is to be obedient to share the gospel and the rest is up to God.

Right after I read this, I saw a car plastered with all of the above mentioned bumper stickers. I found it ironic. But was reminded of the peace that only God can give in Christ. Thanks for the word.

Thanks for this. I'm realizing more every day how much I idolize security and how hard this season of my life is for me in that I have no security in and of myself. I definitely feel like God has taken away my passy but is doing it for my good.
