In their own proprietary way, IE supported gradients long before FF, Webkit.
http://www.colorzilla.com/g... is a great way to generate cross browser gradients.

The real point? There are lots of browsers. Pick the design that fits you. One browser does not fit all, and I surf with 4/5 different browsers during a typical week. I like ff's customization, but like chrome's speed. Opera has nice integration with it's feed reader. I run Mitori because it's really fast on linux.

My phone has bb browser, bolt and opera, and I use all three in a week, depending on what I need it for.

Design is choice, and I like choices.

I've heard this a lot, and I know it's true, but I know plenty of overweight people drink diet drinks already. Does drinking diet soda have any effect? Is the water in diet soft drinks, and the water mixed with powdered diet drinks counted toward water consumption?

Don't forget winetricks, for easy installing of ie6 or ie7, and virtualbox for running a windows install. It's hard to get past the fact that most of your users will be on IE6/7/8 on Windows XP/Vista/7.
