Mr. Coffey was suppose to represent me against the Catholic Church in a lawsuit in 2003. He sold me out to the church before I fired his sorry ass. I have since hired John Aretakis to represent me who recently filed a suit against Mr. Coffey in Saratoga on Oct. 23 for his hideous actions and conflict of interest. This is disgusting and there should be an investigation into his practices and his low life tactics by the State Bar ethics comittee. Mr. Coffey also used his influence against me when he failed to adequately represent me in Colonie Court on an unrelated charge. I had an affirmative defense at the time and he threatened to leave me standing in front of the judge alone if I attempted to change my plea and forced me to cop a plea of guilty. He also attempted to get me sentenced to jail time in an effort to get me to keep my mouth shut about the mollestation that occurred to me by former principal Father James Kelly in the 1970's at Keveny Academy in Cohoes. Quite frankly I sit here sick to my stomach that an attorney of Mr. Coffey's stature could stoop as low as the criminals he represents.</p>grumpyoneTue, 25 Nov 2008 21:56:27 -0000
