Something I've never understood about performance art and 'installations' - as opposed to other forms of art - how do you buy it? How does the artist make a living? I can buy a painting or a sculpture but performance art? Do I rent the artist for a month? Do I need to provide food and a bed for them? A cage for them?

I'm finally going to unsubscrbe - sorry but I've been patient and left positive comments in the past but a black t-shirt with the words 'Oneforty' on it in a single colour with no logo or even a description of what The hell it is just isn't worth the $25 it costs me (from the UK).
In the past we got a sheet of paper that explained who the companies were that the schwag was from, we got different stickers each month and the tees actually had some designs on them - these recent ones have been rubbish.
What happened to ones with actual designs on them - Amie St, Reddit, Mashable, wildfire, Are My Sites up? were all good t-shirts but I've been a subscriber since Valleyschwag started (pre-startupschwag) and have lost patience. It's not hard to add an explanation of what the t-shirt is supposed to be and if I was the start-up I'd be annoyed at a wasted marketing opportunity. Even the stickers are the same every month!
Please feel free to contact me if you decide to run it properly again.

Just noticed the very nice Red Reddit "Freedom from the press" t-shirt in the startupschwag shop but it's not a design that was ever sent to subscribers - is there any chance of it coming soon or is it never going to be in the monthly pack.

Oh, and thank you for listening to the comments about having tees with more than just the name of the company on them - recent ones have been much better - thank you!

Just received my amiestreet tee - very nice but I must confess to being very close to unsubscribing - it really annoys me to hear that some people get two tees and I got one - every time there's a 'bonus' it never seems to come to me.
It's kind of annoying - even if it's only stickers. I'll see what comes next month and then make my mind up about continuing - the amiest tee has made me stay a bit longer as it's a nice design and not just a word printed on a t-shirt which the last few have been (viddler, pwnce, friendfeed and yammer were all guilty of being very boring designs indeed). I wear my reddit, opera and plurk shirts a lot because they're nice and not just walking adverts
I'd really appreciate more blog updates too - I'm commenting on a post from over a month ago as there isn't a newer entry or a more relevant one .

To be honest I gave those shirts away - that's why I was a little annoyed in having multiple ones that I wouldn't wear but I completely understand that others will much prefer them. So as long as it's different every month then I don't really mind what colour it is.

Gray shirts are fine by me but please, for the love of god, no yellow or brown ones, I'd rather have a safe colour than soemthing that makes me look jaundiced. If you do want colours then red, blue, green or purple are all fine by me.
