Also, I do not think you are quoting Abram in the paragraph that begins "Abram also looks at the various open-ended definitions by some of the other critics:" as I wrote that during my Master's studies in the 90s. Could you have made an error? Thanks for checking.

Gerald R. No one around here knows much about EVs, nor are the dealerships motivated to give a solid test-drive experience. None of the several I drove even had the battery charged. Nor did many know about the service schedules — not even the mechanics.

Along those same lines: can anyone tell me if this gas-centric thinking is still in the small details of the car. For example, does the navigation still have gas stations of POIs, or are those replaced with charging stations? Does the app allow you to see current charge? I was really impressed with the Tesla Type 3 introduction; I guess I just want manufacturers to show us they're serious about EVs.

Gerald R. I agree, too, that Gilmore seems to lack much goodness. However, that may be the aspect of him that is most interesting when we view our sympathy for him. While he might lack "goodness," there is still something there that makes him human and strikes a chord with us — still something that attracts us to him. Yes, he is mostly repulsive, but there is something. In this way, I think my comparison to Smerdyakov is strong: he, like Gilmore, might have had the goodness beat out of him by life. Yet, despite his evil, he is an (integral?) aspect of humanity. (It's been a while since I read BK, but I remember having less sympathy for Smerdyakov than I had for Gilmore.)

Thanks for posting the painting. I'll have to revisit this section of ES. If you have more information, by all means post it. Cheers!

Gerald R. A buddy of mine picked up some Type C/Vs a couple of years ago (thus, I got his Ds), and he powers those with a smaller Jolida hybrid (I forget the exact model). He is very pleased with the sound he gets, so I suspect you will have no problem with your 502as. As far as the specs go — I can't seem to find anything either. I won't even hazard a guess at this point, though in my experience they are pretty easy to drive. Enjoy your Ds, if you pick them up, and let me know what you think!

Gerald R.
