Just want to point out, I'm pretty sure that Credit Card details have never been kept in Kickstarter's databases, because the payment systems are all done through Amazon.
I know I've never entered any Credit Card details into Kickstarter.

That being said, they would have a lot of other info about me in their systems.

Waz, you are the bigger man than I.

Now, before someone howls me down for making such a huge faux pas, I will point out a couple of things.
Yes, Waz is taller than me, but from a weight standpoint, I'm definitely holding down the scales on that one.
I believe that my current weight is coming in at 135kg.

I know I haven't been happy looking in the mirror since I was about 17. I was never sporty while I was at school, so I just became the Big Guy. It's progressed from there.

From a romantic standpoint, I have never done that well. Funnily enough, I never believed in myself, or that others could love me. How could someone love me if I can't even love myself.

To a point, I definitely understand what Waz has and is going through. I'm not sure I could go as far as posting a photo of me in just my boxers. Hence, Waz, you are the bigger man than I.

I'm with you, and always will be, 100%.

In a lot of regards, I think you've pretty much nailed (in a fairly short piece) why Star Wars is my favourite of the Trilogy/Hexilogy/whatever-it-is-with-the-ewok-and-clone-films-ilogy.

Question about one of your statements in this. You state "Creator of TRON … Kevin Flynn". Um. Are you referring to the world or the character?
I ask, as TRON, the character (that the first movie was named after) was a program created by Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner), not by Kevin Flynn.
Are they calling the world TRON, or is TRON actually back in it?

I believe it was a tongue-in-cheek reference to his tweet.
eg, the only way that his tweet can be read as being directed at someone (and not just as a rant into the ether) is if there was an employee at Crucial Paradigm with the name "Non Responsiveness".

I see this situation as unfortunate.

It's one of the problems with the written language, especially when it is limited to only 140 characters.

I can see how Neil's (repeatnone) reaction is one of exasperation. A thought flung out into the ether, because nothing is happening the way it should. I know, I've done this myself.

I can also see how Crucial Paradigm could, and has taken this the wrong way.
But, It all comes down to communication.

I have friends that run a small manufacturing business, and my sister is currently their customer service rep. I know that she receives many emails and phone calls, wondering where an ordered product is. Why it hasn't arrived yet.

How does this get sorted out?
She talks to them.
She explains the current situation; whether it be that there are an inordinate number of orders in the system, or that they are having some production issues, or even that we've had a public holiday in Victoria (that no other state has had) and production wasn't operating.
But, this is where the Customer Service process really works. If you explain your situation, Most people understand.

This is the same deal in any business. And I sure hope that good customer service isn't a dying art.

I also totally agree with Allison's 2¢ worth.
The better solution would have been to connect, and work out what's happened, rather than the knee-jerk reaction of "I'm taking my Bat and Ball and going home".

This outcome doesn't really help anyone.
Neil, has to find a new hosting service (and all the hassles that that entails), and CP gets the worst kind of bad press... Word of Mouth.

I'm glad that my hosting service hasn't caused me any grief (infact they've helped me out... but that's another story).

PS please excuse my grammar. I suck at it (though I am better at it than Ralph Wiggum).
PSS how did this turn into a diatribe. I should really write more on my own blog.

Dillion, there is another reason to charge you for the new version. Push Notification is NOT a free service. Other iPhone Apps like iTweetReply are paid for apps, because the developers need to recoup the push Server costs.

I'm definitely willing to buy the Tweetie 2.0 upgrade.

Seeing this on Thursday in the Cinema (though I have already seem it).

It was no where near what I was expecting of it. Nicely done special effects and stunts, but the story is a bit stilted.

The intro sequence for Wesley had a style that separates it from the rest of the movie, but for me it didn't quite work right.

I've just seen Night Watch and Day Watch, and I thought that these were both impressive. It just didn't quite work for me.

Only going to give it 2 stars out of 5. And 1/2 of those stars were just because of the Special Effects.

Hang on... you didn't like Danny the Dog? (also known as Unleashed in Australia).

With he music in scored by Massive Attack...

I though Jet Li did a great job (especially as it was an English Language film, and not a Hong Kong film). Same with Bob Hoskins' hate-able character, and Morgan Freeman's.

Anyway, I alway just take the Transporter films as a bit of "Sit back and enjoy the ride" style of films. Anyway, it a wait for DVD type of film for me anyway. (which I will, unless I get some free tickets).

I can has Saturday Morning Cartoon Greatest Hits too.
Probably my favorite tracks from the album are "Hong Kong Phooey" by Sublime, "Jonny Quest/ Stop that Pigeon (from Dastardly And Muttley In Their Flying Machine)" by Reverend Horton Heat and "Go Speed Racer Go (from Speed Racer)" by Sponge.
