A 2 or a 3. It looks good. But Michael Mann's direction was horrible in this, and it's definitely not Johnny Depp's best role. Technical-wise it's horrible, and feels super home-movie to me at a lot of parts. I didn't feel Christian Bale was the right person for the role either. Because of all the technicalities I really couldn't get into the story.

thanks! haha. it's like his autobiography and it's really interesting and extremely funny. He talks about like childhood and then like his addictions and getting clean and everything.

1. Psych is the best show on television. Following behind that is Veronica Mars.
Gonzo: The Life of Hunter S. Thompson (it's an Oral Biography) is probably one of the best books I've ever read.
Russell Brand's My Booky Wook is good.

2. People hanging out and having fun always is a good sight to see at Warped Tour. Free swag is always a bonus.

Of course a Mariners game would be rained out. It's like they're taking a little piece of home with them to every game~. I had no idea that the M's were doing so well, this season so far, holy shit. hahah. It's cause Griffey's back. (I was gonna say Sox probably kicked our ass in that series and I just went to look at the standings, ahha) Anyways I hope you have fun. :)

Fun fact: Movies are actually more popular during recessions. During the Great Depression movies did extremely well because people wanted to escape the reality of their economical lives. And so far, the same is happening now. :) So people moreso appreciate the arts during a time like this so that they can go and escape what's going on.

Have you seen the movie Control about Ian Curtis. It is a fantastic film and really interesting.

And I've just been listening to a lot of grime music out of the UK (Wiley is so great. haha). And Jaydiohead!

The Gorge is gorgeous so is most of Eastern Washington. But Seattle sucks because it rains way too much. And people can't drive at all here. Hahaha. Though Seattle is fine in short bursts. Haha.

It's so crazy! I like could not believe it at first when I read it. I think it's so ridiculous that like something like that has happened. And like I can't believe that the guy from Drowning Pool is like proud that his music is being used for torture or whatever. I don't know. Did you read Trent's response to the article?
