The connect is a great piece of hardware/software. Although Playstation and Nintendo (yes they are the ones that make the Wii) have awesome game titles he Kinect is going to take off at some point. There is going to be a game that the Kinect is going to be awesome more just like there is a game for every other platform. Once someone makes it it will be untouched. Not only for its gaming but the technology behind it is just fucking awesome. Good job Microsoft.

Does anyone else really care that much about flash? First off its a prototype and as far as I know Google is the first big company to release something like this for people to examine. Yes, multiple people are going to use the device and its the closest thing to Android OS (DRIOD!) anyone has seen. A lot of my friends have an iPad and good for them, but the Google Netbook will put a dent in those sales depending on price. The iPad is priced perfectly, if anyone disagrees they are living in the past. The Cr-48 is a example of technology and how companies should test their upcoming products. Let the consumer play with it at an early age because they are going to be the ones buying it.

Very nice shortcut. My all time favorite is still the cmd + spacebar to bring up spotlight because it saves so much time.

One of the best Arrington articles I have read in awhile. If Foursquare sells out to Yahoo I immediately will start using GoWalla. Yahoo is desperate to gain popularity back somehow and to be honest going after a medium sized startup isn't a bad idea for them but please not Foursquare. I believe Foursquare is just beginning to realize how much they can actually do and be used and selling to Yahoo will just kill them.

This reminds me of the Facebook Beacon program from a little while back. Of course you can opt out of it but that was the last time Facebook tried to share data with outside companies and it turned into an uproar. Although I agree this way is a much better way to implement it I still don't need every site that Facebook determines worthy enough to share my information with to see it. Other sites allowed to use another companies cookies for data? It could only go downhill from here.

They tested all of the big name shorteners out there. You think Facebook with all of there bright engineers could make it a little more speedy. Youtube and Google are essentially the same I'm sure that's no surprise but a lot of the other ones I figured would spend time on making it as quick as possible; especially the ones funded. The less known shortner I use is quicker then most of those with almost 100% uptime so I'll be sticking to that for now.

Correct it is for sending SMS messages which is what Twitter was originally designed to do. SMS messages can carry 160 characters at a time. So Twitted limited to 140 to allow 20 characters for a user name in the sms message.

Are you serious on why it wouldn't be important? It is single handly the most up to date way to search anything. It also allows someone to get input very quickly and very easily from multiple sources that are up to date. As Twitter incorporates all these features into one you will see just how great, easy, and powerful Twitters search is.
