Lewis | First Things

I know I am late to the party on this, but since that mole Lewis is still firmly in place at Franciscan quasi-Catholic University let me say that his Orewllian newsspeak above, explaining how Catholics need to read pornographic portrayals of the Blessed Virgin Mother of God to grow in their faith (or some such psychobabble) is some of the most arrogant, warped bullshit I have ever set eyes to,
Sorry about the foul language - were you offended? (I am guessing not if you are a Lewis apologist, who would interpret the use foul language as a way to get closer to using language devoid of profanities...make perfect "Lewis-sense" - right?)
If Franciscan was truly a Catholic institution this creep would have been "run out an a rail" immediately after his anti-Catholic abuse was made public (if Pope St Pius X was still alive he would likely have "beat him with fists", as he said we should do with heretics)
Lewis is so full of arrogance and hubris that this disingenuous bloviated opus above should be printed out on high quality stock and shoved up his ass sideways.
Sorry - I have no humor or patience for anti-Catholic heretics

Re: Hooniverse “What Were They Thinking” Weekend – The 1958 Packard Hawk

I think this car evidences the fact that cocaine and opiates were not federally outlawed in the US until the 60's

Re: I Don’t Want To Go To College (An Open Letter)

So glad I didn't start my career with 6 figure debt...I took evening classes as I worked full time and paid cash for those classes until I hired on with an employer (MANUFACTURER) who reimbursed me for B's and better.
I have never had a student loan in my life and encourage my own kids to do the same thing, unless they wish to be doctors or engineers.
Forget what the idiots in Washington keep telling you - I love "frivolous pleasures" as much as the next schmoe, but I was raised in a house where play time came after you got the work done.
You need to get the work done folks.
Have you met with your politicians?
Have you called them?
Have you written them?
Have you joined any "counter terrorism groups" (e.g. 9/12..."Tea Party"...etc)
These creeps are hijacking our country and NOW is the time for good people to unite - don't wait for someone else to take care of it for you - get off the sidelines while there is still a game we can play in...

Re: U.S. Chamber Expresses Severe Disappointment with Irresponsible House Health Care Legislation

Once again, the pirates of the Potomac show just how little they understand about life in the real world...

We already have government run health care plans - let's just take a look at what a great job our government has done with Medicare/Medicaid...do we really need any more data than that...and do we now want these same inept theives running the whole nations healthcare (a plan, by the way, which these elitists would never DREAM of subjecting themselves and their families to...)

Our government was never designed by our forefathers to be run by professional carreer politicians, because the inherent dangers of that scenario are playing themselves out right before our eyes...we have a bunch of people who have never even had a real job in their entire lives (e.g. "St." Teddy Kennedy, and of course the president of our nation) making decisions which obviously are totally centered around "what's in it for them"...if anybody doubted this they need look no further for evidence that B Hussein O giving ownership in the "little two" (formerly 2/3ds of "the big 3") to the UAW (24 million in campaign donations to B Hussein) putting THE UAW BEFORE THE PREFERRED STOCKHOLDERS...but of course we have NON ELECTED government "car czars" to make sure that everything is kosher...(don't let the fact that Ron Bloom is a career union leader bother you - I am sure that that is just coincidental)

Better get off the sidelines and start getting involved, people, before these usurpers get us in so deep that we cannot rescue our children and grandchildren from the hole they are digging for them.

Re: Obama Appoints Former United Steelworkers Union Executive As “Manufacturing Czar”

"this is a major victory for underpaid employees across america"

Yes it is...

After the unions get card check (payola) from Obama for electing him, they will finish the job they started long ago of driving the last of our manufacturing off of our shores...

And then they will "celebrate" their victory...raising a cup of cheer...or in the form of a bowl of soup...government provided, of course...and toasting each other while they stand on the soup line

"UNDERPAID" is a VERY relative term...but you will figure that out on your on in the years ahead of us.

Wake up, sheeple...

Re: Obama Appoints Former United Steelworkers Union Executive As “Manufacturing Czar”

Czars...interesing...I thought this was the USA, not the "USSA"...

I thought Czars were for forms of government that didn't follow a constitution.

Where in the constitution do we find provisions for the president to appoint Czars, who circumvent our system and report back directly to the president?...

Get off your butts and get to the polls next years folks...before it's too late.

Re: "Treasury Unlikely to Recover Full Investment" According to Congressional Oversight Panel

Gee -
