I think Congressman Smith hit the nail on the head. The DoD budget is reducing yet they are given little power to cut the places they think need it the most. Meanwhile, both Republican and Democratic Congressmen and Senators act in their own, selfish interest - just so they can get re-elected. They DON'T act in the interest of America as a whole.
