I'm not sure of the point of stereotyping less than actual human beings.

Universal Health Care, for instance, might not be the most original
idea in world, though popular counter of huge slabs of the population
with no insurance isn't exactly a light bulb over the head either. What
do you want from the Dems, a water ballet performed in an invented
language to tell the story of why everyone should get to go to the
doctor?

This is simply "above it all" nonsense. But note the reverse snobbery
"reading a book is the same as having an original idea." Show me an
instance where someone on the left has suggested it is.

The tired cliche "Dems only stand for the negative" rears it
tiresome head as well. In word, if not always in deed, Dems stand
and have stood for all kinds of things. They've caved, early and
often, but often stood up as well. As for liberals and fashion,
I don't exactly consider Michael Moore a fashion plate, but he's
probably the most famous liberal activist in the country. I don't
think Ralph Nader was ever on GQ either. We might disagree
here, but I think Sean Penn is sincere in his beliefs, however
he much he often comes off as poser.

Nope, this is just another excuse scribe for an American
right that brought catastrophic, needless war to the U.S. and
triggered a worldwide economic meltdown based on already
failed policies of "greed is good." If you don't have the
gumption to speak up to your Republican relatives at
Thanksgiving, fine, but don't drag my people through the
dirt.
