I was debating the EOS or Ellia (ordered both to see what I thought) and sounds like the EOS will do me fine for three season high Sierra backpacking - and I can always throw a vest on underneath if needed. Since they cost the same if I didn't need to shave weight I would just get the Ellia and be toasty - but sounds from your description I will in most conditions I am usually in. And, your photos do a better color match for the actual jacket than their website! I agree on all fronts with the review , especially the color options! wish there were more and wondering about waiting til fall if they get some. Cool info on the down mapping hood/shoulders in some jackets - brilliant idea. Thanks for securing my decision with your super detailed review!

Re:

And there was no negative impact on the road capacity, even though a lane was lost."? Resonates with work I am doing now in Leadership for Community Transformation with Dr. Monica Sharma. Question: Are there assessment tools that we can use with our staff, boards and colleagues to facilitate this understanding?

Re: Community Rental: Monterey Bay Dahlia Society Annual Show

What a fantastic event! It manifested a man. We had a wonderful almost-year together. As the lunar year turns, our relationship is no more but I'm still going to write a love letter to him, honoring the part of me that is still tender toward him and as part of the letting go.

I'm also going to write a love letter to my future love. Likely including some of the same things I wrote last year, as well as some of what I learned were important to me this last round that I had not known before.

As I am engaging more in right-relationship with money this year, I like the idea of kicking that off with a love note as well. Thank you for the inspiration in that!

Re: About

This is an awesome summary, although perhaps your martinis are better than your margaritas and your paintings of said cocktails are better still....

Re: The Badass Day Hiker’s Gear List

If you're prepping for a possible overnight, its easy to take an ultralight emergency blanket/tube or a tyvek sheet and ultralight rope to add a little warmth/dryness to the equation.

Re: communication

wish there was a photo with this one

Re: crazy drummer girl

Indeed, this looks like album cover material!
