Have you forgotten the dumpster fire that was the battery life on the 10 Pro? I was lucky to have get half a day out of that overpriced piece of junk. The 11 has amazed me with what a decent battery life could be.

Battery life out the door for me was shocking. Lucky to survive the working day on a charge at first and it just got worse. Can't understand what little battery management they have on this phones but it seems to work against the user.

Bought the 55" version of this today, even though the sales guy kept pushing a 49" Sony. Have to say I'm impressed with what I've seen so far (apart from the app store not being to update iPlayer and thus not letting me use it). I also tried a bit of 4k netflix with the promo in the box and House of Cards season 2 looks quite stunning. Bring on ACTUAL 4K content!

having just gone on a brewery tour at the Meantime Brewery here in London, we were told the headaches and hangovers are probably due to excess levels of CO2 in the beer which the body can't process correctly. There's quite a few brews (even the horrible big name ones) that stick the Bavarian purity law from the 1600s. Most add stuff like maize and rice into their brews (as it's cheaper) and some of these "fillers" can help send the CO2 levels through the roof.

I have yet to grasp the idea of buying download TV episodes. The DVD / Blu ray box sets (as you say) are yours to keep and there's invariably SOME extras to whet your appetite. The download is the download. I'm just glad, in this case, I have Sky Atlantic which purports itself to be the UK's home of HBO.

Vinyl in the UK is still expensive. For instance, the Daft Punk album on CD is £8, on vinyl it's £19. There's a 40th anniversary Bowie 7" single that was £9.99 as well - for two songs we ALL have.

Assume it's more about collectability than anything else.

I can't believe how well that album STILL stands up today. There's a lot of material from the baggy / brit pop era that really sounds dated. This album still sounds quite fresh.

like the video streaming services, this will likely all come down to content. For the general public, album tracks are where it's at. The service that starts bringing promo remixes and rarities to the table will get my vote. Until then it's MP3s in the Google cloud.
