Why can't the FBI write the codes themselves? Because it requires intricate knowledge of how the phone works in order to circumvent the security. Therefore, once Apple attempts to break its own security, this capability will exist. Even if the FBI returns the tech to Apple, they can learn it, study it and replicate it. And then people in the FBI will know this tech, people in Apple will know this tech. I am talking individuals. And that is how the tech then gets out to hackers. The tech cannot exist. And Apple has an obligation and responsibility to its WORLDWIDE customers not to be the one bringing this tech into existence. If Apple writes this backdoor, it is akin to business suicide, the world will not trust an iphone to be secure again.

Absolutely agree with you. Somehow, while agree with her, was in her shoes and worked my way up, her tone just rubs me the wrong way. Humility does not seem apparent in this article. And I never believe that putting a person down can bring them up.

even if you implement the project in 2015, 2016 or 2017, they will still have to bear all the cost, so when exactly are they able to develop the project. basically, if you implement it, they have to do it, or they wont have any houses to sell. and what more, they would have had to sell all those surplus luxury condos at more appropriate prices to finance their next project.

the fact is, you are not implementing this because the developers dont want you to because it will be a wrench in their greedy system.

PAS has been around since forever and will continue to be around. If they don't see value in PAS as a partner, then perhaps PAS should move on from what is clearly no longer a beneficial relationship. this demonising campaign of PAS is not exactly a sign that PKR and DAP want to maintain ties.

I have always thought that having majority support means that the MB should be from the party or pact that won the most seats in the election. surely if the candidate is from the party or pact that obtained a majority of the seats than he or she would have majority support. if Iskandar or Azmin is chosen, what possible justification can PKR and DAP Aduns give to have a vote of no confidence against their own pact members who don't have a disciplinary issue? Will they have to create issues for Azmin or Iskandar after this?

I'm sorry but as far as the world agrees, Israeli settlements in Gaza are illegal settlements. EU countries even ban/label Israeli products that come from illegal settlements because they are, well, illegal, i.e., land taken from Palestinians.

there is no peace for Palestinians because of Israel's settlement policies. without resistance, Israel is free to take new lands from the Palestinians and forcing Palestinians out of their homes everytime a new settler arrives in Israel. How can Palestinians just accept their people being pushed out of their homes willy nilly and their land being taken away and growing smaller on a daily basis? Basically, what everyone who wants Palestine to surrender is saying, let Israel continue with the raping of Palestinians, take it like a good slave.

So probably Gaza will end up being fully destroyed by Israel and Gazans will all end up dead, but they didnt accept their oppressors and neither you nor I can say what is the right action for them towards their oppressors. All I know is, Israel is an Oppressor due to the fact that they have illegal settlements in Palestinian land and they push out Palestinian out of homes and this truth must never be forgotten.

I wrote a reply earlier on the four points presented in this article but it seem to have been removed. Not sure why. I feel this article is way off base and presents four proof that are basically nonsensical.

#1) If the plane went down in the ocean, it would have broken up on impact and debris would be easily spotted

Didnt the air france plane crash with only the wing section broken of and the main wreckage sunk? The plane could have very well broken up into only two pieces which cannot float but instead sink deep down (4000 ft).

#2) The plane continued broadcasting data to Boeing for 4 - 7 hours

The plane was said to have crashed in the Southern Part of the Indian Ocean, near Perth. I checked and flight from KL to Perth takes 5 - 6 hours. The plane shut off its transponder near Vietnam so it would take longer to reach the location given.

#3) There is ZERO evidence the flight crashed into the Indian Ocean

There is zero physical evidence but the Malaysian govt did not just pluck this from air. The data was given to them by InMarsat based on calculations of data from its satellites and was corroborated by the many international agencies working with the Malaysian govt. You can read how its done below. This is math and it gives the investigators (who are not just made up of the malaysian govt agencies but international agencies as well) solid scientific evidence that the plane ended its flight at that location. Due to the fact that the location is remote, without landing probabilities and that there is not plane which made a water landing there, they have to conclude that it crashed there.

Just because the transponder was deliberately turned off, it doesn't negate the fact that the plane crashed. Remember that during 9/11 there was another plane that was supposed to carry out an attack. Due to the fact that the passengers tried to storm the cabin to stop the terrorist, the terrorist opted to crash the plane. I am not saying this is what happened but the fact is, the transponder could be manually turned off for many reasons. Fire, electrical issue that caused the pilot to turn it off for safety reasons. You are just speculating that it was because they want to hide a new flight path.

To the ones talking about passanger phones, it could be caused by call forwarding.

on black box

Black boxes send out a beacon for people to find it but it has a short radius of about 2km. Underwater, this is severely impacted. Remember that it took the Air France team 2 years to finally find the black box underwater.

I find it strange that with the many incidents that occur on airplanes every year, people find it hard to believe that this could have easily been an accident. the pilot could have faced an electrical fire that caused him to deliberately turn off the comms device to reduce the fire risk and made his way to langkawi to land *this was the airport closest that can take a boeing* (which was why he turned back), he brought the plane up to higher altitude to put out the fire. But the plane depressurized as it soared to an unusually high altitudes, rendering everyone unconcious, and the plane continued flying on auto till it ran out of fuel near the indian ocean and crashed.

it could easily be an accident. people just don't want to believe that we don't have control over our lives.

-The lack of debris being found does not indicate that the plane is intact. The Indian Ocean is vast and the weather conditions could easily have caused debris to float every which way. In any case, why do you say that the Boeing cannot survive impact? The Air France plane was structurally
intact with only the tail breaking off upon impact into the ocean.

#2) The plane continued broadcasting data to Boeing for 4 - 7 hours

-the last location of the plane in the Southern of the Indian Ocean near Perth. It takes approximately five hours for a plane to fly from KL to Perth. The transponder was turned off when leaving Malaysian airspace and entering Vietnam. It easily takes more than four hours to reach
the Indian Ocean from there?

-While the transponders may be turned off deliberately, it does not negate the fact that the plane could still have crashed. If you know about 9/11, you know there was one more plane that was
supposed to have carried out its mission but the terrorist on board decided to crash it when they were pressured by the passengers storming the cockpit. A similar situation could have occurred.

Fact is, the malaysian govt didnt just pull this out of the air. They based it on data studied by Inmarsat and it was corroborated by the various international agencies working with malaysia to solve this matter. Based on Inmarsat's calculations, they were able to pinpoint the exact final flying location of the plane and judging by the remote area with no landing possibility, they can concur that the plane must have crashed there.
