OK, I sincerely hope you and your favorite Southern boy have been listening to Peter Holsapple's music too. Start with The dB's--one of the most influential bands you've never heard of--and make your way to Maverick his first album with fellow dB Chris Stamey. Give yourself a bonus point if you've been spinning R.E.M.'s Green or Out of Time because he was practically the 5th member of the band back then.
