OK, so perf charts aren't telling an acurate story? what about when you turn port monitoring in the vDS and see tons of packet drops, what story is that telling me? should I be concerned, or should I ignore it, this is vCenter 6 I'm running at the moment in this cluster, at least until this weekend when we finally get to upgrade to 6.7.

thanks for this post, I searched around for an hour on how to move photos from iphone to PC and kept coming up with a lot of nonsense.. I'm shocked apple doesn't have a better and easier way to do this stuff. first thing I found genuinely annoying was this sync thing, why does apple have this iTunes sync so it syncs your pc photos to your phone?? and not the other way around? I tend to believe 1 out of 10,000 people are looking to sync photos on the PC to their phone, where as 10,000 to 1 are trying to move photos off the phone to the PC. Who came up with this idea at Apple is a complete idiot. People are looking to easily transfer photos to their pc, not the other way around. A simple drag and drop is all that we need you aholes at apple, drag and drop, and afterward, we want to know where these photos are so we can easily access and edit them or do whatever, we don't want to have to jump through hoops to figure out where they are.

All I will say is stay FAR AWAY from vivid seats .com, they presented me this ticket that showed their price in an email, it was a fake, the real ticket that actually came to me showed the actual face value which was only 1/2 the price, they totally ripped me off. Stay away from this vivid seats they are rip off artists.

Hey, although Sessions lied under oath, don't expect anything to come of it, politicians aren't in the habit of having each other arrested and won't be any time soon...
Also, and most importantly, the author of this article was without wallet and Sessions picked up his breakfast, now this is a standup guy! D'oh! I am hopeful America will be great again, but it won't be till 2 things happen, Dems wake up, and Rep shut up.

This is a perfect example at how utterly uses law makers \ judges really are. Rather than look at the totality of the issue, they look at the fine print and then make the most ridiculous, nonsensical judgment. WOW is all I can say. And these people are actually paid?? obviously its time for someone to step down. IF anyone out there has the email of this judge I would highly recommend bombarding it asking for this person's resignation.
Our society has idolized law makers as if they are "smarter" then others, and this is just another example of how ridiculously unintelligent they really are. Does it really matter what the fine print is around some other law that states that some BS about you being in a public place?? After all a restroom stall is a public place is it not? and so based on this the court would also rule that you can kick the stall door open and snap a photo? WOW!! Hello? Is there anyone home at all?? This is so absurd it would seem its something for the tabloids. Yet here it is, and the fact that people are backing this up stating "they understand it" is even more ridiculous. At the end of the day there have been all kinds of laws with detailed definitions, does that mean they need to be followed to the T every time? once a trial goes to jury doesn't that jury have the right to make a decision that would over turn past rulings and set new precedents? the law appears to be exercised in a manner that almost allows the system to do what ever they want at any time they want and then throw some bullshit out there to defend their decisions regardless of how ridiculous. I realize there are times when things aren't so clear cut, and that creates challenges. But where's the challenge in this case? any prior definitions should have been ignored or reversed, and a new statute created that protects people from these photo hungry predators. All you freaks out there that like doing this crap, get a clue you are creepy. Not long ago a woman caught a man snapping photos on Newbury street in Boston and she put up a video on youtube about it, and certainly after a million views this guy is now busted by his wife and friends and has to be the most embarrassed, bury your hand in the sand, ahole out there on the street. Until now of course, the judge who made this ruling tops it all. How does this person live with themselves? WOW WOW WOW!

Jeremy - you state this post works for w2008R2 - when attempting to apply the hotfix to w2008R2 I receive an error stating the hotfix is not for this operating system. How did you get past this?

vSPhere 5.1 is the environment. Each system at all of our customer sites has a local account that has admin rights on the boxes. This is the account our field engineers, and support group, leverage when working at the sites. The account is not an AD account but rather only local to each system. I would like to script a 1x auto login of this local account so when the field engineer launches the VM remote console he is already logged into the desktop of the guestOS.

thanks for the quick reply, but I can't make changes to the customer environment other than the changes we are contracted to make, therefore the method needs to be done in a scripted fashion where the login occurs 1x and then that's it. it doesn't need to be automatic, just needs to happen once. another script I have written creates a system list, and this is referred to when I query the netadapter info of all these systems. I then want a script that will allow the account used by the implementation team to log in to all the systems in the list so that all the guys need to do is open the VM remote console and voila, they will already be at the desktop of the systems and can perform a quick look at the system changes.

NICE, thanks for this. On another note, do you happen to have wmi script that can auto login user account to the desktop of a w2008r2 server? I am searching like crazy and can't find anything anywhere and I know it is possible and exists.. when deploying a vm from template in VMware there is an option to auto login to the desktop as admin after machine is first deployed... I need to script this functionality.

Tally - can I get a look at the script? I don't have network available at the time of installation - this is for recovery at DR site and VMware ESX will be up before any other server with an accessible network share. I have been trying to script - in the %post section of ks.cfg - copying files from the floppy to /mnt/sysimage/xxxxx but it hasn't been working... any help is good help...
