well if the financials turn around (3X) in five years at the earliest and Obama wins his re-election, Geithner will still be here...if he were going to get canned, it would have be done already...barring a huge mistake.

i had high hopes for him in the beginning...but, he is flip flopping and tripping up very, very quickly...do you think people will lay off of him if the market turns around big next year?

@wolf ...and how much trust these people had in him to keep giving him money...

one source says that in the first year his "fund" lost $400K and he folded...opened more "funds"... and the rest is history.

Does this sound like a trend that could catch on? A way to bailout the people while the government is busy bailing out the fat cats on Wall Street? Or do you (like me) think this is slightly comical and absolutely absurd?
