I go through spurts where I obsessively paint my nails and then nothing for months. But, there's something so fun about looking down and seeing the color. I like that color a lot!

I definitely used carefree on my hair when I was natural. I've seen Miss Jessie's at Target and was going to scoop some stuff for my husband but those prices gave me mega pause. I think wearing your hair in IRS natural state is a lot more work than people recognize, but it's beautiful. Props to you.

I guess I feel like it's easy to hate fat folks and paint them with a blanket brush. But this can be said for lots of different groups; douchebags, hipsters etc.

I don't think I've ever been a woe is me fattie, and I don't need anyone's pity to know what I am when I can see it and clearly - based on all of the overt judgment - everyone else can see it too.

If it makes someone feel better to commentate about my fat, I think it says more about them than it does about me. Because if the worst thing you can say about me is that I'm fat - I think I'm doing okay.

I am NOT a writer. I always feel like I should preface everything I say with that. I am, a pretty voracious reader though. The one thing that struck me, was how much you used the character's names, which I didn't think you really needed to do and after a bit it almost feels like a bit of distraction. There were also a few sentences I felt could have been combined to make the thoughts more succint. I REALLY liked how much description there was and I could picture in my mind what you were trying to (successfully :) ) accomplish.

I think there's A LOT of this going around as people really try to figure out how to connect the dots of all our internet (for lack of better words) "stuff". I find myself increasingly uninterested in blogs that serve as businesses and more apt to regularly read those who write just to have a voice or presence. Not that I'm opposed to anyone being able to earn money via this medium, but I just think it takes on a whole other tone. Good luck with whatever you decide - I am sure it's going to be fabulous.
