Wow a lot of people not happy with Marley Spoon here. Personally I do Dinnerly and am really satisfied with the packaging (mostly recyclable) and the recipes are super simple which works well because people in my household can be super picky. Plus it’s about $6 a meal. At the beginning of the pandemic it was one of the only consistent sources of food we had. Only 2-3 times have ingredients been crushed and once at the beginning of the pandemic we never got a box but they refunded the whole box in those instances. Never had a missing ingredient. No recipe cards but I like that there’s no waste and honestly I barely follow them anyway.

Wondering why fireproof bags are never considered? Like if I use safety deposit box couldn’t the bank also catch fire or is that just super unlikely? I got Codenames for a weekend with friends and am really bummed at its lack of diversity. I mean I guess I should come to expect only white people represented in a Czech game and there was a Disney version I could’ve got and avoided this, but still a bummer.

I live across the street and the same people own a couple houses around the neighborhood. I think they sold some and just added those decorations to the Bergen home.

This is far from the only Christmas decorations on my block though. The garden always has lights as well as 2 other houses that light up their stoops. One of them projected small red and green lights across their house but it paled in comparison to this. This house just keeps their decorations up the longest. Prob a week before thanksgiving and a couple weeks after NYE. There’s sometimes faint midi type music. I love it personally.

Most service alerts affect any borough that isn't manhattan...but something tells me most of the bloggers for this site use the L because I guess Refinery29 couldn't find ANY cheap eats in queens, bronx, or SI.
