Group texting is still available on Android - and through the magic of MIghtyText, you can text from your desktop computer and sync with your phone. I couldn't live without MightyText or WhatsApp anymore.

That was so nice of them to build a brand new building downtown to run their restaurant which will probably close and then they'll sell it to some awesome independent local operator who will do something useful with it. Maybe. :(

I think the Point Breeze CDC is responsible for those. They rent their office space from Ori, but to my knowledge, Ori is not officially involved with the CDC.

There's not "a few."

There are fast food places like Au Bon Pain and McDonalds, there is a coffee stand inside Wills Eye and one in the Hospital for Neuroscience, but I assure you, outside of that, there are no other coffee shops in a five block radius around 9th and Chestnut.

So what makes this coffee shop so special is that they have artisan coffees, not just industrial drip, and they are locally-owned. A refreshing option for those of us who try to support the like. I'm sad Town Hal didn't make it.

Right. It's based on unearned income. I get that. But there are some people from whom the school tax income is collected, and there are some people who receive unearned income who have never even heard of such a thing. This has been brought to the attention of Kenyatta Johnson's staff several times.
