Instead of clapping* when a pilot successfully lands a plane.. we should all tip them (I hear the pilots union isn't doing so well... and he didnt kill us. Sooooo, why not?)

I could not agree more Guest Account (wish I would've thought of that username). What also seems to be lost in this discussion is that high quality baristas at "fancy" coffee shops (Cafe Grumpy, Joe, Stumptown) generally get paid a higher base wage ($10-$15/hr) because they are experienced and know how to use the $15,000 machines to pour an exceptional cup of coffee

A good post, but I have a few comments.

Namely, why was the "written" By someone from Moo.com (I'm still trying to figure out what writing was actually done)

No letterpress posters or broadsides?

Also, I would argue a good third of these show no real letterpress proficiency. Are these all "stunning" examples. Perhaps a better title would have been 49 macro blur effects in photography

Stationary what? Perhaps you meant Stationery...On a related note, Giant Squid Press has started writing a letterpress romance novel, it's called 50 shades of metallic grey. Excerpts:"The hot molten lead pumped down the cam shaft of my Linotype, filling each crevice of the matrices.""harder, harder!", the client squealed. "letterpress it harder. I want it to leave a deep impression"...this stuff practically writes itself.
