Seems that she has made satisfactory adjustments to quiet their dog. Maybe the guy who filed the complaint should rescind it. To those who have not lived next to or near a neighbor with a barking dog, they should try it some time. It is an absolute nightmare. I am going through this experience now and have gone several nights with only 1-3 hours of sleep. I've called Animal Control and the Sheriff's department and the barking continues. Try sleeping with earplugs in your ears only to wake up with headaches in the morning. I wish my neighbor was as good as the Talavera's. At least their neighbors are getting some rest (since November no less). My dickhead neighbor's dog still barks (literally from 9pm in the evening to 6am the next day) and I have not had any resolution thus far after the calls I've made. I have neighbors with 1-3 dogs beside me and in front of me and they take care to keep their dogs indoors at night so as not to disturb sleeping neighbors.

I find it strange that people are more worried about a few racist comments than the idiot gang bangers invading the city. This is the reason why they are here. Nobody wants to say it out loud because they're either afraid, trying very hard to be liberal, or they don't want to be labeled a racist.

Gang bangers who at least in Gilroy or Morgan Hillquite frankly Latino. There are a few motorcycle gang members that live in the area that are caucasian. But they're not the ones doing petty robberies of people and/or businesses in the area in the name of a gang. Who else are they? What is the lesser of 2 evils? Being called a racist? Or letting the gang bangers come in and quite frankly win the war? And others attack people's grammar but you don't attack the real problem which is being addressed - gang bangers not illiteracy.

What I had posted previously was removed unfortunately. And there was nothing remotely racist or insulting (except maybe to realtard) in my post. Why does the Morgan Hill Times editors remove posts from people who feel strongly about this dumb gang problem we have in Morgan Hill? Sheesh!

Someone mentioned, "Bring back the gang task force...." I had indicated that it's not possible with the current level of tax revenues the city received. Furthermore, I had indicated that if we continue to fund unaffordable pensions for city employees, there is certainly no way we can add additional city personnel. Sometimes it really seems that the Morgan HIll times is politically biased as a newspaper if anyone mentions the state of the city (and state and government for that matter).

As for Realtard's comments, I unfortunately agree with whoever they are. But that doesn't mean I have to like them. Especially since they usually insult everyone who posts about this problem. Parents of these dumb little gang bangers need to watch their kids and watch them carefully. It's not the Asians, or caucasians or blacks in this city who are joining gang. It's Latinos and there continue to be generation after generation after generation who fall into them. As I stated in my previous post, let them meet their makers in prison (that is where their American Idols are anyways). Once they start, there's no way out. Even the guys who get in, learn their lesson and want out, have to either fight or die their way out.

Someone said that wearing the colors of the American flag was incendiary. On the other side of the coin, so is wearing the colors of the Mexican flag. A high-speed train through Morgan hill would devalue our already devalued homes from the economic downturn. It puts homes in danger that are in close proximity as well as people who might need to cross the tracks. The noise from a train running at 100+ miles per hour would be horrendous. The freight trains that run through late at night already seem to have drunk conductors blasting their horns all the way through the city. Let's push to have this closely aligned with 101 instead of having it run right thorugh the community. All communities in Morgan Hill should speak out in opposition to it running through the city. Our ELECTED city officials should get an injunction against this running through the city.

Why just English learners? I agree with Jawz. Why should the state, who uses my tax dollars to fund other programs, pay for this? I have one child in a private school. Yet I don't get a tax benefit from the taxes I pay for my portion of the funding for public schools. Let's stop with the special interests here. When you talk about english learners, the large majority of these will be Spanish speaking students. Put them in another class so that the students that are already at their class level can continue on to the higher levels without being held back by the few students who's parents don't take the time to teach them English
