Because of Andrew, I already have implemented some of these strategies, but I will be implementing the full strategy by this evening. My blog is already loading pretty quickly, just by eyesight. I have to check by one of these sites to see the actual time. This is so exciting!

My blog was not slow to begin with, but now it loads super fast. Nice!

When I activate the WP-DBManager it says: Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public -To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /home/path/to/example/wp-content/backup-db

I had this problem before. I had to create a file. There was not file to move. So I went to the /home/path/to/example/wp-content/backup-db
location and set up a .htaccess file and everything cleared up.

Thanks for the tips. I have all these plugins downloaded now. :)

Editor's note: edited the paths to "examples", as it's not wise to put the full paths out there.
