If he hailed from Guam then I say that he didn't do a very good job in maintaining the Barrigada post office because this particular post office hold up most of the mails that are coming to Saipan for days even on first class/UPS or USPS mails or packages. Barrigada post office is as notoriously bad as the one in Richmond, CA for holding on to mails and packages for days and sometimes weeks!

So why does Governor Inos allow Pedro Tenorio to continue harassing KAN PACIFIC to get out? This is one only Japanese Resort that stays faithful to the CNMI since ever since and despite pleas from the community and the local employees from the resort, INOS/TORRES are not doing nor saying anything in regards to this ongoing fiasco that baron Pedro is doing to KAN PACIFIC. Despite the resort's plans for development, MPLA ALONE is adamant to kick KAN Pacific out. Did BEST SUNSHINE lined INOS, TORRES and TENORIO's pocket with plenty silver dollars, like the saying "money talks, sh**T walks? Same on you 3!

waste of funds, BJ. There are more crucial and pending problems that needed your attention, like the overcrowded CHC and lack of student supplies. CHC and students will forever need help and constantly where these funds can be better utilized instead of providing funding to accommodate these build shacks and temporary shelters.

What was real scary was that we were completely cut off from the rest of the world for several days and our government or IT&E DIDN't let the authorities or advise someone such as Washington Homeland Security, the Pentagon, the Coast Guard, my worried mother, my neighbor who kept coming over to check if we have internet yet, the Army Reserve or another country know of our dilemma! We could have been terrorized or invaded by an alien and no one will know until its too late! This is a US territory and NOT ONE IOTA of news was reported to let the world that we have a problem, Houston! Are we that insignificant or is our government too busy with BSI while the legislature took 2-week coffee break!!?? Peaheads to the max and the scaryier part is they are running our lives!

A few handful of supporters showed up at the public hearing and that was good for Fran. Goodness! A law should be in place to curtail this henanigans from the government agencies, a law that will specify the percentage of public presents at these public hearings so as to define a true public interest. A handfew or selected group chosen (or invited) is not a true public interest. I am shouting this message to the legislature!!!

BECQ and CRM are not in compliance with all the findings that are screaming in our faces to properly dispose this piece of property afforded to Best Sunshine! When the land was being cleared for the Nikko Hotel to be built on, similar findings (bones and war relics) were discovered so the project was put on hold until these findings were properly disposed of. BECQ, CRM and HPO should STOP all works until the site is safely and properly cleared of relics that are part of our history. Now, CRM Castro is saying that majority of the public are in favor for this BS investor so we know that we are continually going to be sc>*re24wxed! By this government! I suggest Liana Hofschneider and group to file "amicus curie" in court to stop this blind, deaf and dumb tactic the government is using when it regards Best Sunshine!

Mr. Speaker, live or unexploded ordinance is something you don't fool around with not knowing how corroded or dangerous it gets once detonate! Why don't you ask them to demonstrate with the real thing that they will be using during the live-training? We'll be able to see then if the military is lying to us. One demonstration can give us a good calculation on a given day training and the damages - at least this will help us a bit with our lack of. . .everything (knowledge) on what these live-trainings entailed.

Talking and doing the talk are two different things. Domestic violence is still on the rise and frankly, I am very disappointed with this service. Try calling them for help and see how fast they intervene. Hot lines or 24-hour service is nothing more than referrals that frustrate the victim or families in need. Maise travels more than walk the talk, as most highly paid government employees do. Basta de leli!

Pete, it is NOT in the best interest of collective land owners to kick out a long time investor like Marianas Resort & Spa, but yours and yours alone! Your personal selective decision in regards to this resort is so loud, clear and insulting to the collective land owners so please don't put words in our mouth. Option to renew should be afforded to Marianas Resort as long as they come up with improvement plans or show the financial contributions it has been making towards the lease. A faithful and committed tenant is more trustworthy than to get new, unknown risk-taker who may be flight-by-night, another money laundering front or worst, another casino/hotel schemer!!!! Pete, you don't make sound decisions anymore!! The future of our children will not disappear because of you! Go away!!

All we do up to now is blah, blah and more blah and no action, Edith. Very few of us, including our late Tony Pellegrino were harping on training and preparation of local workforce since way back to address this approaching situation but while we have limited resources, Tony, a doer started to do something about it. Have you? Has our government? Has our legislature? Talk is cheap! Why are we building so many hotels now when we never a 100% occupancy in the first place? Another 200-500 would very sufficient but 3,884 additionals!!!? Are we going to have DAILY visitors of an average of 3,000 per day? Come on, wake up leader! A moratorium is needed now, please.

The computer generated poster is so NOT acceptable! It's not an island July 4th festive mood style and is a bit of an insult to me as a proud islander. This computerized made poster is good for other festivities or other occasions but not an island July 4th celebration and I am surprised that the local members in this committee agreed to this style!! Rose Ada, aren't you in this group? Mayor, was your opinion sought? Was the public asked for poster contest/ideas? This poster is nice and could be used anywhere (maybe in China) but not in our Marianas July 4th celebration!
