So why is there all of a sudden an uproar by right wing fanatics against the Electorate College? By the way, the righties should realize Obama won the popular vote by approximately 4+ million votes despite all of their conniving and treachery to give that crook Mitt Romnay an advange. So what are they going to do about that; advocate doing away with the popular vote as well? I will be glad when this right wing element that has soiled U.S. governance will be gone forever!

Also why didn't they have this same attitude when GWB stole those two former elections and in the process robbed Gore. I advocate letting things remain they way they are and to heck with these rotten schemes coming from these unAmerican scoundrels.

It would be great if KKSJ would increase its frequency in order for its sound to be heard in the northern part of the Bay Area clearly. Not having a smooth jazz station in the San Francisco/Oakland area seems rather crude, not only toward people who live and work here, but also toward visitors and tourist, many of whom expect the availability of this type of entertainment while they are visiting the Bay Area.

Actually after reading many of these posts, and the degree of influence the KKSF radio format had on the general public, this decision by KKSF may have more serious social consequences. Apparently thousands of people have developed a personal ownership or individual connection with KKSF that by this connection being broken could create serious individual emotional setbacks. At a time of economic challenges in California in particular, this event could cause greater social anxiety.

From the tone of the vast majority of posts here in their utter dismay at KKSF smooth jazz radio being taken off the air, I highly suspect that it may not be long until their is another smooth jazz FM radio station back on the air. Afterall, the Bay Area is too big to not have a FM smooth jazz station. I just hope if that does happen, the station lives up to the true meaning of "smooth jazz" by dedicating all of its music time to jazz only! Indeed, a vacuum has been created with the ending of KKSF FM radio.

I was a KKSF listener for years and when I retired, KKSF became a major part of my life. Although I primarily enjoyed KKSF jazz and especially the surreal Sunday Morning Oasis, what dsturbed me most about KKSF was all of the tired old music from the 60's, 70's and 80's that was not jazz. Upon enjoying certain jazz music, I would jump up and turn the radio down when some other type of music would start, my most disliked that I struggled with over the years was that awful Hearts of Fire from Earth, Wind & Fire, Smooth Operator-Sade, At Last-Etta James, Siting by the Dock of the Bay-Otis Redding, Georgia-Ray Charles, music by Steely Dan and all that other music tha was not jazz. Although I feel a since of regret that KKSF is no longer on the air, I also feel a great sense of relief.
