Like Bing. AOL was called "where innovations go to die" because their acquisitions always stop innovating. Sometimes it works though, like Google's Android acquisition. Hopefully the added resources Sean mentions in his comment will mean that I won't have to switch to Slack (I very much cannot be bothered...). I'll give them a few more months!

Re: Machine learning in the real world

I know! We explicitly decided against automatic tracking of interactions because we want to be able to control exactly when someone is marked as "done" so they don't fall off the reminder list when we send them an email only saying "thanks, awesome" or whatever.

We do however have a bcc feature for those who like automatic tracking.

And not everything from the 90s was bad. Like grunge.

Good luck with Link.io!

Re: Remember to stay in touch with all of your best LinkedIn contacts by using FiveHundredPlus

Hey Kevin. I've heard that even cops who've done the "good cop, bad cop" routine during interviews fall for it themselves. So it was with me and my 5% score from LinkedIn. Even though I knew it was an unremarkable stat (I don't get *that* many views) I somehow felt compelled to tweet about it! I refrained.

Re: Digital Asset Management: Let's Not Forget Why it Started

Great article and an interesting take on the DAM value proposition. Investing in development for the Facebook or Ning platforms for any other reason than cheep, viral distribution is one example.
