Now that I would pay to see. Such a funny juxtaposition of roles. I'm sure that would boost sales even more for the female ticket holder and for the Alternative Life-style Crowd.

Re: City of Bothell set to celebrate 100th - Bothell Reporter

Do we have any one still living here that was living at the time of the incorporation?

Re: City of Bothell set to celebrate 100th - Bothell Reporter

Congratulations Bothell!

Re: Keep the bikinis on the beach - Bothell Reporter

Unemployment = Opportunity!!!! Freedom of time to educate your way to a better job. Go back to school and learn a new skill set. A little known opportunity grant exists for recently laid off workers that qualify for unemployment benefits. If you apply in the first 60 days after getting your award you may get the opportunity to go to college and keep getting your unemployment checks with out having to log your work search efforts. Check www.go2ui.com and look for Worker Retraining information. I have taken that opportunity and I'm learning skills that will land me jobs making web applications. Cascadia Community College is a great place to learn!

Re: Byte Slaves: Bothell’s PC paramedics - Bothell Reporter

Social networking sites have a value because of the number of potential viewers they attract. The space is rapidly becoming overwhelmed with wanna be social networking sites which further segment and confuse the traffic flow but they do have value if they excel in developing a content base of very unique and well done content so the membership can be said to have a demographically definable niche.

Simple, effective use of a CMS system with a forum and blogging ability propels the business value of the posters efforts on the social networking sites. With short, relevant, on-topic posts in targeted social networking groups with a resource box/signature at the end of the post containing a link to the main CMS web site and a very short positioning author bio statement, will generate the best return on time spent. The poster can keep on topic and not violate the trust of the group by directly spamming with commercial advertising. The poster earns the respect and interest of the group by the quality of the content they post. If any of the group members take the steps to visit the resource link they can be open to viewing more commercially motivated content at the main site.
