I've been saying this for a while (before the gamepad announcement)... Apple has the possibility of completely derailing Nintendo with the Switch. iPhone / iPad Pro out perform the Switch in a big way...we just need the iOS game devs to bin the IAP model and just charge people a fair price for games. Imagine a physical TV dock for the iPad Pro and games to display at proper resolutions.... the possibilities are endless, save for thermal throttling....

Apart from they all weren't... the guy specifically says in the video, guys took their tops off and the girls took them down to the shoulder or wore boob tube tops to give the IMPRESSION that they were topless so that clothing wasn't a distraction.

I love this idea. I'm not a professional, I'm part way through a photography course and I'm still learning the technicalities of shooting.

However, having watched this video, I took my D7000 out and shot (granted, only 1080p) video and still images of my 5 year old daughter playing in the garden. On a few occasions I asked her to smile, she did her normal (oh Daddy is taking yet /another/ picture fake smile) but then laughed....

The times I took the still images, I was waiting for more than the fake smile, but had to settle for it because you can only have a child maintain something for so long.... while shooting the video, I was able to pull out the frame when she couldn't hold the fake smile any more and started to giggle and laugh with her eyes.

Now clearly, video on my D7000 @1080p is nowhere near the quality of the Canon 1D C, but... as a person who wants to get the best image out of a situation... I really think this concept has potential.

As talented as some of you guys are I'm sure you're not psychic... and you're not able to predict the /exact/ moment that a micro expression happens or is about to happen every time on one, two, three or more people.

Photographers and videographers, I respect your craft and your talent but as a technology lover (and lover of photographs of my daughter), this concept (although, not a new one) excites me.

Just seen this on the feeds and had to chip in...

I don't condone any form of racism, however I'm not sure how 'forerunner' can be considered a racist term (unless being from the UK I've missed something in translation)

They may however have mistaken being direct, to the point and knowing what you need with no demonstration for you simply trying to get your hands on the Macbook as quickly as possible to make a run for it. Chances are this has happened to them before otherwise they wouldn't have such an elaborate procedure in place with the code word, ear touching and all, similarly chances are that a person of ANY race would have been treated the same if the store worker (righty or wrongly) assumed that a robbery was about to take place (I like to believe that not every human being is a racist) Thieves come in the form of any race btw, not just black.

For me, it kind of goes wrong at the end...sending a black store clerk to finish the sale in some form of gesture to put you at ease... is possibly a bit of an over compensation for wrongly assuming you're a Macbook robber!

Hey ho, it could have been worse, the security guy might of tried to take you down... least you made it out of the store on foot and with your Macbook paid for ;)

Its a tough one really, it seems the problem lies with the service providers, we don't have 24 month contracts here in the UK... only 18 months. Plus we dont always have to specifically pay extra for data, data is normally part of the bundle with minutes and texts.

I'm personally on t-mobile here in the UK.. i get HSDPA speeds on my N95 with unlimited data (30gb per month fair usage) a good allowance of talk time and text messages for £30 / month.
