I've lived in Manhattan for 45 years and with a studio/multi-bedroom unit, how much time did I really spend inside? PRECIOUS LITTLE. Yo, it's Manhattan! Go for a walk, grab a cab, go someplace, do something, see something. Eat in? Why? With The Shore and Mt. Snow near, I wasn't in my apt on weekends for over 10 YEARS. Oops, I forgot. My generation enjoyed being with people, talking with people, meeting people IN PERSON. Like, ah, um "watering holes" like Maxwell's Plum, Friday's, Wednesday's, Tuesday's? Fun? We were alive! What wasn't to like on First Ave?

In my 74 years my best friends were Rusty, Spooky, Stormy, Poncho, and now Daisy - been together over 17 years.

First, it depends if you're home all day or working? If working, what hours? Retired or just ' started? NYC has regulations about neighbor "noise" such as the type of musical instruments, etc. Also, if you can HEAR your neighbors, especially from little bare feet, you're in a cheap building. The apartments I had in NYC, my neighbors could fire a gun and I wouldn't hear it. Apartments buildings in the West & South West can require 2nd floor tenants to INSTALL CARPET if they wear western boots indoors. It's a Federal Law where tenants have the right to "quiet enjoyment." Then depends on who was there first!

Let pet owners know what to do if their VET is worthless and dishonest. Find another? 100 miles away? We in N. Wisconsin don't have good vets. They will injure your dog then blame it onto you and/or your pet! Liberals, Socialists, Communists. Socialized Medicine, etc. BAD VETS. And they're all FEMALE vets, the worst kind. Nobody to contact. Ask a female vet a question online? Sure - AFTER they get paid. Europe laughs at us for taking this junk from poor vets - of which they DO NOT HAVE. Want a healthy dog? Move to Europe.

Some people are "touchers" and some are not, male or female. Joe Biden really comes to mind. Italians from Brooklyn like to touch but not grab. Very innocent yet friendly quick touches. Living in NYC causes you to learn how to touch someone without it being rude or aggressive. In the hallways, elevators, subway cars, buses, office. If you have to get through a crowd - use the back of your hand to barely touch someone as if you're saying, "Excuse me, I'm walking behind you."

You continue to portray this "America First" as an anti-world movement when it is clearly not. In the US we have a saying, "Charity begins at home." Which clearly means I take care of my family FIRST before I help my neighbor's family. This country has a horrible highways, bridges, dams, railroad ways, public transportation and a ton of other messes the previous presidents intentionally allowed to happen. Half-white Obama was given $44 billion for roads and bridges, etc. When nothing was done and was asked what happened to that money, Obama said "We spent it for something else." Yes, all $44 billion was transferred to various Islamic groups. Period. Fly to LA or NYC, then drive across the country. Our highways and bridges are garbage. Under disrepair and sometimes detours have to be made to bypass the parts that are NOT roadworthy.
Compare our highways to the Autobahn - built in the 1930s and STILL in almost perfect shape - and you will be shocked on what we have to travel on.

We need to fix OUR roads and OUR bridges and OUR public transportan FIRST. Then we can try to help the rest of the damn world!
