The discussion regarding the Thunderbolt 3 port not supporting Power Delivery is incorrect. The assumption that the video makes is that since there was a standard power adapter for charging then the Thunderbolt 3 did not support Power Delivery. I have personal experience using the Dell Thunderbolt 3 dock for display, data, and power delivery. It is also mention on the Dell website that the Thunderbolt 3 port supports Power Delivery. Other than that, the review is very good.

Guys, This sounds interesting. My needs are a lot less.
I am doing Smart Home demos at trade shows. I have the AC 24v transformer and no matter which way I connect it to the Nest, after an hour or so, there is an error message on the display that will not go away. All I need is for the Nest to think it is connected and wired correctly. No need for a light or simulated heating/cooling. Any ideas? A schematic would be helpful.

Brad, the source for this article got everything wrong about Intel RealSense. The Dell tablet does not have the Intel RealSense 3D Camera and therefore no 3D gesture support. The tablet has the Intel RealSense Snapshot R100 camera which supports some cool photo processing usages.

Sorry but your information about the RealSense camera is not correct. It is not the Intel RealSense 3D camera, instead it is the Intel RealSense Snapshot R100 camera which does not support 3D and gesture recognition. The camera supports only photo processions usages.

Your article is misleading because the Lenovo Yoga 11 is NOT an Ultrabook. This is a Windows RT device which does not have an Intel(R) Core based processor which is one of the requirements of an Ultrabook. BUT, at CES Lenovo announced the Yoga 11s which will be an Ultrabook, in the next month or so.

Dana, Nice review but I must clarify a couple of points; first you mentioned that you must always select the adapter and connect to it unlike when connecting to wireless access points. Intel WiDi does have a feature that allows you to designate an adapter as the default adapter so that when you launch the Intel WiDi application it will automatically connect if that default adapter is in range and available. It's called Auto Connect. Look for the Properties/Adapter setting and check the "Automatically connect to this adapter" check-box. Of course you must first connect to the adapter for which you want to configure for Auto Connect. Secondly, in the 3rd paragraph of the "Performance and Graphics" section you incorrectly list the wireless card as an Atheros wireless N. Intel WiDi requires an Intel WiFi Centrino card to function. For the E305 there is a combo WiFi/WiMax card from Intel.

I have used it in the past and it worked. Yesterday I ran into a problem. A few days ago I created some #groups to handle the various ways I post to my social nets;
1. #pb Generally I use PeopleBrowsr on Windows to post. PB support posting to Twitter, FB, and Ping.fm. So I can post to all my social nets by selecting Twitter, FB, and Ping.fm. I had also configured Ping.fm to post to LinkedIn, Jaiku, Flickr, ...
2. #all post to all nets when using Gravity

So I tried to post to #all using Gravity "p #all <message>" and it does not work. It posts to my ping.fm default which is some strange combination of my social nets. Have you tried Gravity to post to a Ping.fm hash group?

Great post. I started with PB a couple of weeks ago and it was overwhelming so I switched to Lite mode and used that for a week or so. After I got the hang of it I switched back to Advanced mode. I still am using only 20-30 percent of the total capability. You post should help me expand that
