Not true. The Constitution says:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;          "(b) No more than two members shall be affiliated with the same political party."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In practice, that has meant 2 Rs and 2 Ds, but it does not have to be that way.
