must be a lot of us with the same problem. I was always too white to be mexican, and too brown to be white. I grew up in a black neighborhood until I hit Rochester @ 14. Then I was supposedly wigger. I didn't give a fuck then and I really don't now.

She's not a racist, just making some good and thoughtful observations! I was just there and I thought it was still full of white folks, mostly moms with their trendy strollers and caribou coffee cups, and the role playing teenagers (think "role models") who acted like they were scared of the sun. It is really sad that she was harassed that way...I remember going there just to goof, not to be mean to random people...

the photos of those houses makes me so sad. I have been in tons of them, trying to sell them. roaches, needles, feces, mold, bodies, you name it. What's worse is there are always, always, toys and kids stuff in them.. What kind of chance does a child have in that environment, with that kind of leadership to look up to?
