the FIL told me he use to carve out the insides for hubby and his brothers when they were younger, seems like a lot of work lol (many colourful words were said :p) turnips here are often bigger then the pumpkins tho lol

I write like I would talk, it bugs some people, some like it, and others have no idea what I am on about lol and think i am loco :p which is pretty much what my friends think :p

finding a blogging voice can be hard tho if a person tries to be someone they are not. I like being able to go back and read earlier posts, as its interesting to see how a person first started blogging. and while blogging is meant to be read by people online, I find that the blogs I tend to read more are ones that don't try to be something they are not so they get more readers.

i love all the colours in your photos :) not a big veggie fan but love how colourful and bright they can be. this year has just flown by! not sure where time is going, I'm told its because I'm getting older that time flies faster....hope not lol

what a colourful looking book! :D looks like so much fun. I don't know girls that are 8 so would either use it myself or save it until my niece is old enough to use it :) I wish I knew how its september already! this year has gone so fast, its not funny

I'd probably go with some kind of green to go with the red, but that might be a little odd for some people. hmm dark purple if you want a darker looking blanket, light if you want something to be brighter?

I've been commenting less on blogs, spending more time outside with the dog which helps with my creativity. I do notice that ideas are coming faster now that I am away from the computer for most of the day. I usually have my email open when I draw but everything else gets turned off because its too distracting. I try to look for art related things online, but often I end up finding a food blogs to read, or another interesting blog. I want to start to focus more on things online that have to do with art, business and possibly border collies but there are so many distractions online that time flies by before I know it. m

hmmm but a person can never have too many ties. paint faces and clothes on the gourds and then use the ties on them? a gourd family?
