you sound amazing. this is by far one of my most favorite vocals you've done. it's so...you..the bare essentials. i'm in LOVE with your voice. it takes my breath away and for you to just sit down and record this just stuns me. i can't even think straight to comment on this because it's playing while i'm commenting haha.
i'm also glad you're getting on the guitar. c'mon vegas skies on ap :)
you, my friend, are one hell of a singer.

Wow Alex. Just when I think you can't be any more selfless. It's stunning how much you care for others. It reassures me that there are still people out there that care about humanity as a whole. And to hear that with all of your triumphs you still look for ways to put them to good use. It's amazing.

"why sleep when you can dream?" Exactly. You make me realize that I can do so much more than settling and I thank you for that. Life isn't about success. It's about love, giving all you've got, and being happy. Something people tend to forget.

I would love to just sit down and have a legit conversation with you about everything from love to life to the Raiders sucking ;) to growing up. Everything. I think a good time would be had by all. Lunch date on the 13th of April? If nothing else for your birthday? I'll even let you bring B. Dales ;) my treat.

You're one of the best people I've ever had the privilege of meeting and I can't wait to see you this spring. We are gonna have the time of our lives!

Awww Batman! That's so amazing. That whole experience must have been a total blast for you. I'm so glad you get to experience stuff like this. You of all people deserve it.

it's little things like this that make me drive 5 or 6 hours to see you guys. you really care. and it means the world to us.

i saw you a little over a week ago in dallas and i already miss you like crazy. this break from touring is gonna kill me but i hope you enjoy the time at home. you deserve it.

Oh. My. Goodness. If it's even possible, I have fallen more in love with your ideas and way with words. You tell it like it is. You let us see the real you at all stages of your life. And for those of us who are truly dedicated to you and what you do, it's a treat.
I actually teared up at this post. Partly because it's been so long and partly because you make me stop to think about what you can miss in life if you don't open your eyes.
People go through the motions of life every day, but are they actually experiencing it? No. Like you said, time consumes everything. It eats people alive. I'm part of that, but you're making me want to stop and experience the day. Break the mold of my routine if you will.
The Batman story was my favorite. I can see you now. Cape and all. Haha. Wow. You never fail to make me smile.
If we let time run our lives, where will we be when it runs out? Nobody knows.
Thank you for this post. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And you made me think. You are a teacher. You've taught me so much. You make me stop and assess everything around me. I love it.
I've been in love with you boys for 9 months to the day now. October 19, 2008 St. Louis Rockband Live Tour. I by some chance got granted a wristband to the meet and greet. And since then there was no turning back. You boys stole my heart right then and there. And you rocked the stage that night. It was seriously the best day of my life, followed closely by the other 5 times I've seen you guys live. And ever since then there hadn't been a day to go by that I haven't listened to your music.
You guys have come a long way and I'm sooo proud of you. You are truly my hero. All of you.
I'll be seeing you in 17 days and I plan on giving you THE biggest hug in the history of ever. So be ready!

you are adorable.
the cab has so much meaning to me. so much more than a name. the only thing i hate is when i tell people the cab is my favorite band and i get the ever popular "death cab?" question. lol no people. if it was death cab i would have said death cab.
you guys have made it so far. i'm so proud of all of you. your music is one of my most favorite things in the world. thank god for AIM right?? haha
i'm so pumped for this tour. i'll be seeing you in 11 days.

i know that things will work out for you because you have such a good heart. and nothing of what you say is at all fabricated. you MEAN it, something of which we don't see very often.
