in this app, lower is better.

However, I agree with you, excessively slow cornering is MORE dangerous than properly cornering.

Huge pet peeve of mine: someone who stops in a right-turn lane that continues without merging, waiting for cross-traffic so they can cut across all 4 lanes to get to the left. Freaking GO and lane-change after you're on the street already, wtf don't stop and make all 6 of us behind you slam on our brakes

if you're trying to use the app as it's intended, you can't fiddle with the phone because it'll throw off the accelerometer calibration anyway.

I've found it makes me fiddle with my phone LESS, since I can't move it from the cupholder unless I want to stop recording data.

Hell, maybe they SHOULD, there are way too many idiots that can't drive without breaking their passengers' necks, let alone pay attention to the driving situations they're barreling through

could it be that you're ACCELERATING too hard, not necessarily holding a constant speed that happens to be above the speed limit?

I've never got this alert, though, so I could just be talking out of my ass here, lol.

yep cannot connect or use AIM.

I've resorted back to using my own OpenFire server at home, with its own transport, and connecting through that. Seems to be the most reliable bet, and persistence works fine.

Your bridge servers are stable as a rock =D

Making progress...I now get status updates while attempting to sign on.

But it seems to be stuck at "Sending account details"...I'll post a ticket too.

I just tried a random incorrect password for my AIM account...
and it still connected and showed a green light.

Same exact symptoms as before. Green light, no sign on, no buddy list. This is on AIM.

I have tried:
-reinstalling
-rebooting
-deleting account info and re-inputting

No luck. Hopefully it's just me not being moved to the new server, but I wish the app gave more feedback (or wrote log files or something)

Same exact symptoms. Green dot, no buddy list, no actual signing-on.

MobileChat went from dead, to half-working, to actually somewhat reliably usable, to completely dead, and now it seems like it's in a placebo stage of showing you a green dot without actually doing much.
