I'm 50 years old and I have watched horror movies since I was a little boy. To be honest, they have come a long way since I was a boy. For the better I think. Censorship is mindless fear and if a person is offended by something, don't watch or listen to it. After all, we are supposed to live in a free country. Anyway, enough of that old rant... I have rewatched so many horror movies from my past and MOST have been campy or silly. You need to check out a few Vincent Price old horror movies from the 50's. The Fall of the House of Usher and House on Haunted Hill. The 60's Pit and the Pendulum is good as well. Give them a shot!

Re: The Horsemen (2008)

Thanks for the visit and comment Erin! Another one of my FAVORITE biblically themed "horror" movie is Frailty (2001) with Bill Paxton. Great movie if you haven't seen it. I have a post on it somewhere on my blog here.

Re: Friday The 13th (Remake)...

I appreciate your comment! Thanks for stopping by. About the only 80's style horror I really love is Hellraiser. The others are good, but I never really got into them. Not a huge fan of B style T&A horror. But I do understand the need to let your brain rest every now and again! Thanks again for your comment!
