You say that now, but I can't begin to describe the elation in peoples' eyes, working at a remote store. For them, it's like an oasis in a vast desert. They're simply glad that we are even here!

Aside from the fact that it is dripping with contemporary corporate lingo, I really do see these things reflected in the way our store operates. I hope it's somehow encouraging, that all these things can be a reality with a Starbucks store. We're doing it down here.

Man, that sucks. Our store meetings actually go really well, the whole staff cares about each other, and people actually listen. The more I hear, the more I realize that we really have something at our store.
