Seems to me that you're also planning on keeping this as opensource on github? Thats great if so, as I'd personally try to chime in and possibly open a few Pull Requests. I also know a few other people who might be willing to help.

As for your business model: keep it simple - people don't really dig complicated schemes. You don't need cashback if your bot service works reliably and more importantly, if it's fast. The reason why goatbots went from nothing to my favorite bot chain is because I can - shit you not - complete a transaction with them in under 5 seconds. The same thing with something like supernova still takes minutes. It's crazy, and I bet it has a tremendous impact on number of trades (and consequently, profit). So aim for quality and just charge a stable, predictable, percentage of trades if your goal is to make money with this.

Do let me know if you need someone to brainstorm this with. I'm on twitter as @f (the single character) and you can also email me at any time. Honestly, I'm just happy that someone's building an actually decent mtgo bot.

Re: So I thought I had cancer

Which is, well, anywhere :) Good to know you're okay, Ryan.

Re: Scripting News: Twitter is down

Interestingly, I did get here through your tweet about your post about twitter being down. Which in turn says it's not *that* down. Happy new year, Dave - I hope you're well!

Re: iOS version code-names

it's clearly an ipad.

Re: So A Blogger Walks Into A Bar…

Great post. The feature itself is quite small (heck, it's even the title of my post), but it's definitely not earth shattering - so in that sense, I agree with you.

PS: if you could change the spelling of my last name to Oliveira, I'd appreciate it (it confuses Google, because a lot of people do it) :-)

Re: Scoble Digs Bug Labs

No wonder Robert is excited - this is amazing stuff. We need more people building devices that act as platforms.
