Truly, WordPress is a victim of their own success. They are so big that they will be in the radar of hackers, so it becomes up to us to be preemptive and stay up to date. I mean, WP pretty much yells at you as soon as their is an update and it takes only a couple minutes, so why wouldn't you?

So, my answer is NO, I have not been hit with any vulnerabilities, and I do feel safe using WP. And, I definitely do not blame it on WP.

Exactly, we need to find a way to help the others, but not change it for everyone. We are sliding in the direction of Socialism..

And the wealthy (came from money), not the rich (made their money) have no idea what it is like and never will. But, they help decide what's "best" for us..

In your last question, I think that is exactly what we are getting. Change just for change. Obama has a backing that is so huge it is unfathomable, now include his Social Media fans and it's crazy. He only needs to speak it and the majority will follow and that is a problem. We will stop thinking for ourselves and allow the country to slip away even further.
