In Italy everyone overdresses. You find secretaries dressed like Versace models on the catwalk. I love the informality that Americans have, as opposed to the misleading and false formality of Italians, always in their suits, choking in their ties even if they work at the local post office.

I don't live in America, but I'd love to and from what I've experienced, the only thing I'd miss about Italy would be perhaps the food.

Re: Gamescom 2009: Instant everything and the addictive potential of marriage - European Journalism Centre

Great report! Actually also in Italy there's a strong car culture, even in large populated cities where to move by car is complete madness.

When I go to London I find tons of mobile phones applications and other media giving real time information about public transporation issues, while here in Milan it's impossibile to know what's going on. Moreover Italy has always been plagued by frequent strikes and bad service, which has led many to use their cars.

Your idea of promoting local papers brands by providing useful local information is very interesting, I'll keep an eye on it here in Italy to see if someone turns that idea into reality.

Re: Zong is not available in Italy because mobile operators are greedy at Markingegno's drafts

"Goes slower" is an euphemism...I'd say it doesn't go at all...
